David at Diamonds by Lauren is THE genius at setting colored diamonds. I know it was already recommended, but I have to wholeheartedly second this and say he is truly amazing. With a light pinkish brown diamond, I’d contact him to design a setting.

PatLeigh :  I just saw the picture of what your husband wants to do. I think that ring is gorgeous too.. I love the rose gold around the stone and than white gold for the ring. How about working with a jeweler to make a scaled down type version of that ring? Either a local jeweler who does custom work or someone like David Klass!

(It’s not letting me upload my picture!) I’ll try later. Anyway it’s a ring with 2 trillion cut diamonds on either side…

I don’t remember her screen name ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I hope she doesn’t mind me posting her ring (or that I screen shot it once upon a time) ๐Ÿ˜‚ but this is my weddingbee ring crush, and it would spectacular in something like this…

This is what I’m envisioning, while vicariously living through your ring.  The Harry Winston treatment.

That is a gorgeous stone! I think the other thing you should consider is your own skin tone. If you’ve got really pale or cream colored hands then your stone will show up more with your skin as a backdrop and a rose gold band would be gorgeous. If you’ve got ruddy, pink or red undertone skin, then you might want to consider something with white diamonds (as side stones or a halo) to make a clear demarcation between your hand and ring and really help your center stone pop (so then it would be better to go with a white gold or platinum). If you’ve got darker skin then you should look to see how the rose gold will look next to your hand. It seems a bit pedantic but really something to consider. That stone is a gorgeous blush tone!

I LOVE your pink diamond! So beautiful and romantic! I’d go with a platinum to contrast the beautiful blush color with a white plain shank. I think it’ll look classic and clean. I wouldn’t mind adding more stones for halo like white diamonds – but it looks gorgeous without anything really. I think you can’t go wrong with your pink diamond. Good luck and hope you find what you love! Please do keep us updated!!! <3

First of all, I hardly experience ring envy but wow your pink diamond got me! I love it! Makes me want to get one for myself ๐Ÿ˜‚ anyway, here are some options I feel like you can consider for your stone. I love three stone rings and think it will look beautiful in a setting like that. But the halo that I posted looks beautiful too because it’s in gold!
