Ok so I have a guilty pleasure in watching Freaky Eaters on TLC. For those of you who haven’t seen the show, it’s about people who only eat a certain type of food.
For example, yesterday was a guy who only eats cheeseburgers, and a lady who only eats cookies, candy, icecream etc. I’ve also seen people who only eat: pizza, french fries, or only drink soda. All these people claim to have started this eating behavior in their childhood, and at the time of filming they are in their mid to late twenties to mid to late forties. I can’t help but think some of this must be over exaggerated, because it is just so incredibly unhealthy.
Has anyone seen this show, or think it’s fake???

There are people like that out there so I wouldn’t doubt for a second that it’s real, nor do I think it is exaggerated. I have a friend who pretty much only drinks soda if it were up to her, and another whose vegetarian daughter only eats hot dogs (but wouldn’t if she knew what was in them). So it’s not that unheard of, even if the majority of the population does not behave as those on the show do.

Just going along with the thought of people who eat a lot of one thing…my brothers friend in hs would drink over a gallon of milk in one day, by himself. Yikes!

I agree with Selene. I think that although part of it may be exaggerated, a lot of it is probably true. When I was annorexic, there were only certain foods that I would eat. Everything else would make me really sick. I am better now, but I can totally relate.
