Supposedly if I buy my wedding dress from a local shop and it’s over $1200, I’ll get a free 8 day/7 night trip to Hawaii. I’m not a dip, but what’s the catch? I guess you can’t pick the hotel and I already know its buy one/get one airfare. Has anyone gone on a “complimentary” trip?
She did say there weren’t any blackout dates, just have to book way ahead.

I used to live in Hawaii and have vacationed there many times. I’d be worried about the quality of the hotel. I’ve seen cheap rooms that were roach infested.

Are they going to try to sell you a timeshare or something? I’d find out how much of your time you’ll have to spend listening to “seminars”.

probably some fine print that require you to attend some seminar thing, or you don’t get to pick the date and surprise it’s like… next week and they know you can’t afford to take off that fast. or you don’t actually get a free vacation, but you get the chance to win a free vacation. the offer has no cash value.

It’s been a few years, but my grandparents won a trip to Hawaii, and their hotel room was infested with cockroaches, so they had to find and pay for a different hotel themselves. After that, they had a blast, though!

I’m terrified of roaches. And I’m a hotel snob, so….
