Did anybody do this? I hear you get free starbucks on your wedding day, is that true? *actually I saw it mentioned on pinterest*
And as a side note- how do they know it’s your wedding day (assuming you go there in the morning before you get ready). I mean I guess most people don’t lie about it, but curious.

I’ve never heard of this either! But unfortunately the nearest Starbucks is a couple of hours away from my hometown where I’m getting married.
Good luck to those getting married in a civilized area (with Starbucks nearby)
I wish Caribou coffee did this, since we met there, but again, there isn’t one within a couple of hours from my hometown. 🙁

I’ve been in Starbucks on my birthday and they’ve given me a free drink, and this was long before I was a gold card member and that was standard. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone friendly gave a bride a free drink.

I think this is more like if you show up just about anywhere in your wedding dress, people are going to fawn all over you and at a place like Starbucks, free coffee is definitely a very real possibility. Darling Husband works for Sbux and he says there is no policy and you’d look pretty silly going in a asking for/demanding free coffee claiming it’s your wedding day unless you were already in the dress.
