I have read the first chapter during lunch…Wow what a great book!  I can’t read the whole thing and find out how I can improve my finances even before I am married.

Thanks for the link!

Also, check out her Save Yourself plan at http://www.saveyourself.com — she has partnered with TD Ameritrade for this promotion, which offers a $100 bonus if you open a money market deposit account and fund it with 12 consecutive monthly deposits of $100 or more.  The APY itself is quite low (1%), but once you factor the $100 bonus into the mix, it’s a great return, compared to any other online saver.  I know I was excited to get my "free" $100 last year.

If you can find an extra $100 a month to save over the next year, this is a great place to start that "emergency fund" that we all know we should have.  Of course, after you get your $100 bonus at the end of your year, I’d recommend transferring the balance to an account with a higher yield.

She offered Women & Money as a free download on Oprah last year– a bit of Googling can find you a link to the book download, even though it was a limited time thing.
