HELPPP!!!! I’m in a bit of a bind. My fiance’s mom isn’t doing so well, so we’re kind of in the air about when the wedding is supposed to be (It was originally scheduled for December). But because of her health problems, it might be happening in a couple of months. Anyways, I was hoping we would save enough for some wedding favors, but we might need to toss the idea because of the rush date. I did sign up for free wedding favors after finding a site that was giving them away (Believe me…I’ve been doing a lot of research on how to save!!!), but if I don’t win, then what?
I am pretty much beyond scatterbrain right now if you couldn’t already tell. But I was wondering if there are any other wedding favor ideas that I could do for free. Any suggestions? Right now, anything would help. Thanks so much
(P.S. here’s the news article if anyone else was interested in those free favors. http://www.prweb.com/releases/wedding-supplies/wedding-favors/prweb4806584.htm)

we actually aren’t doing favors. I found that as a guest I never remembered them anyways and for our wedding it would help us out a lot not to have them! Hope that helps!

Not free, but cheap and easy – cake balls. I make them all the time and they go like gangbusters, people love them.

I’ve thought about not giving out wedding favors, but decided to try to get some free ones first or make them. I’m kinda leaning towards not giving any though.
TKS – how do you make cakeballs? Are they just little cake pieces rolled up?

We are doing koozies. Where we live alot of people go boating and always use them. I found a great website and I think I am only spending about 215.00 for 250 and that includes shipping.
I wish you the best of luck with your wedding and I hope his mother will make it to your wedding day.

What about just a couple hershey kisses on each table setting? I personally feel atleast something small is nice. It’s common and most guests expect it.

We are doing a desert bar where people in my family will all contribute different deserts. Maybe you could make your own sugar cookies with thank you on them or somthing? Cookies you could easily make in bulk and not spend a ton of money. My Fiance is going through melanoma cancer so we actually bought bracelets similar to live strong bands for our favors so our money was buying our favors but also going to melanoma reserach maybe you could do something like that for her sickness?? Good luck!

Since your FMI is having health problems (god bless), maybe asking for a favor for the guests. Making small place cards that ask for donations from the guests.
