    Yup, that seems to fit the bill.

    Forget all the other adjectives that come to mind… such as tacky, wreckless, selfish, dangerous etc.

    The one and only important one here is ILLEGAL

    There is a good reason that you can’t stop, block, drive the wrong way, walk, stand, or do stupid things like set off smoke bombs on an Interstate / Expressway

    I drive alot… and I can tell you without a doubt, that everytime there is something that causes Freeway Traffic to have the flow interrupted, there is the very real chance of someone being involved in a rear-ender… if not a major accident.

    Anyone who has seen a major accident (the type where cars catch fire / smoke billows) knows what I am talking about…

    Be it on your own side of the Freeway, or the oppposite side, as others slow down (and some rubber neck to see what is going on)

    My guess is, that there was at least one minor (if not major) collision as a result of this

    So ya, I am all in favour of the Police / Courts coming down hard on this a-hole

    Sometimes this new Internet / Video MOB Mentality gets out of control and this is one of those occasions !!

    (Another one I can think of were the Vancouver Stanley Cup Riots)

    Not all UNIQUE Ideas are necessarily good ideas… and these would be two examples IMO

    I really don’t get why they’d do that. but what I get less is why everyone’s getting so bent about it.

    No, there’s no way it’s acceptable to endanger or inconvenience a whole freeway of people to propose to your girlfriend. How self-centered can you be?

    @BeachBride2014:  I agree!

    As someone who used to live in Socal and take that very freeway on a daily basis I am a little annoyed for those that got caught up in it. The ramifications could very well last for hours. Very thoughtless, dangerous and as This Time Round reiterated ILLEGAL.

    I hope that this does not encourage others to do similar stunts like this.

    I think this was a terrible idea, personally! It’s so obnoxious.

    Wow, this is horrible. I am from Southern California and the 10 is already horrible to drive on as it is. Even a few minutes can be devastating on that freeway.

    As someone who’s spent hours on that freeway due to “just some 2 minute delay” and couldn’t get to a lot of family event, I say, Screw you, bikers! What an inconsiderate prick
