I’d ask the vendor that is providing the fries.

Your guests are going to LOVE you for this. Darling Husband and I did french fries and sweet potato fries w/ different dipping sauces during our cocktail hour and they were a HIT.  Would you like me to ask my venue/caterer how large the cones were that they used?

@missmature:  the fries were in cone paper on a tree stand and then the dips were in mini glass votive holders in fiberglass trays below.  I am not sure of all the dips, there were two secret dipping sauces and then there was ranch dressing and ketchup.

@missmature: Oh yum!  I love french-fries, so I’d want the biggest size you’d give me!  But, realistically, since you’re doing it yourself …. maybe a small size so that guests get a “snack” and not a midnight meal.  Approximately how many fries (or how many “bites”) do you get in the different sizes?

@missmature: One of my favorite dipping sauces for sweet potato fries in maple butter – mmm! And for french fries I like nacho cheese and cajun ranch. Now I’m so hungry! 🙂

ETA: I love the small McDonald’s fry as a very rare midnight snack, and those are 2.5 oz. I think the 4 oz cone should be good enough for a late night party food.

How would you keep them warm? Cold french fries are the worst :p
