I live around Philly and went to school here, and in school my friends and I used to joke that french pedis were “sooo Jersey”…not that I dislike people from Jersey (my bff is from there!) but it’s definitely a regional thing.  Personally I’ve never gotten one, as I like bright colors on my toes.

I love them. Super classy if you ask me.

Not for me.  It basically shows that your toe nails are so long you were able to paint a tiny white line across the top. Blegh.  Nude is the classic way to go.

By The Way, I googled “French pedicure tacky” and got an article that said a “French pedicure is a tacky American way of saying ooh la la,” how bout that for a weird perspective?

This is so funny, I never knew that french Pedi’s were so controversial!!  Maybe we finally found a replacement for the great Open Bar debate! Wink

I love them, but I hate when they make the white area too thick.

French Pedis kind of freak me out a little but I love french manis! I don’t think that hands and feet need to match – but you go with what works for you!

i have been wanting to reply to this thread – i personally always say I hate french manis and pedis but lately i find myself thinking that when the line is very thin they look pretty!  not for me (i’m def a dark polish girl) but not tacky.
