- Wedding: May 2013 - Canal St Inn
Living in Seattle and planning a New Orleans wedding can be daunting sometimes. Thankfully a friend was able to hook me up with a friend of hers who lives in the area to do our photos. Recently we took a very short trip to eat cake, meet with our coordinator and venue owner, etc. We were originally going to meet our photographer at the venue so she could get some ideas for shots, but she wound up having to reschedule for the next day. To make it up to us, she gave us a great price for some impromptu engagement photos! We spent the next 3 hours wandering the French Quarter (like Fiance and I did when we were first dating <3). It rained (A LOT), but it still wound up being a great shoot. Here are the results:
Courtyard of Bourbon Heat.
Balcony of Bourbon Heat.
Bourbon Heat Staircase.
Outside of The Dungeon, where we first met. 🙂
This one she edited for us. Pirate’s Alley, side of St. Louis Cathedral.
St. Ann and Chartres.
French Market Restaurant and Bar Balcony, right across from the statue of St. Joan of Arc (AKA, Joanie on a Pony).
The Gazebo Restaurant courtyard, near the French Market entrance.
This one’s my favorite. Mural behind a fountain in Dutch Alley, behind Cafe Du Monde.
