- Wedding: April 2012
My fiancee and I have recently changed our minds about having a domestic wedding in the U.S. and decided to go to the South of France. I am loving the location of Villefranche-sur-Mer and Eze Village. I am looking for anyone who has any advice or suggestions about having a VERY small, VERY simple, no frills wedding here? We want to find a beautiful property where we can be married outside with the view of the Mediterranean (near or far) in the background. We’ll probably have 10-15 guests who will simply stand during the very short ceremony. There are so many villas, hotels, etc. that I can’t narrow down what the best value is or what will be most convenient. I don’t need a wedding planner, since I really won’t have anything much to plan – but I need any input of locals or frequent visitors. Might I mention that our tentative date is April 29, 2012. Although it may change to a mid-week date to make things less rushed upon arrival. I figure it won’t matter as long as everyone is there – a captive audience! Anyway, I’d love to hear from anyone/everyone. Thanks fellow bees!
