CinqueTerre :  Oh my goodness – I just saw your lovely message. Thank you so much! I’m thrilled to be engaged! And thank you for the kind words about my posts!! I just stalked your posts, and I love your OEC family – you have a good knack for finding the better-cut OEC’s out there! ๐Ÿ™‚

mspenny :  Oh wow – did your fiance decide on them all by himself? They are super trendy right now, and I think they add a unique element to the classic solitaire. I like the “boxy” look the standard prongs create, so I went that direction, but also adore the kind of… “diamond” shape the N/S/E/W prongs create. Very very pretty!

duchessgummybunns :  i had shown him a few rings i liked. I had a beautiful white sapphire with pave side stones… i somehow chipped it… so we decided to get something else before we announced our engagement. He chose it out of like 3-5 examples. And ended up choosing my ring because of the prongs. Very proud of him! He wanted traditional. I wanted unique… im pretty artsy. So he chose something really traditional but also a bit unique. It was a good compromise. ๐Ÿ™‚
