I’m having a backyard wedding so the ceremony and reception are just a couple steps away from eachother. I really wanted to have a lavender toss after the ceremony as we walk up the aisle together as husband and wife, is this appropriate or should I skip it? I’d love to hear you’re opinions. Thanks!

Our friends did a lavender toss at their wedding and it was really nice!

We did it. I harvested mass amounts of lavender from our yard and used sprigs on the reception tables and buds for our toss, since we had to find something that didn’t need to be cleaned up at the ceremony site.
It was great!

Love it. Lavender smell just heavenly so during the ceremony you guests can enjoy the smell. =)

Do you think it’s okay to do after the ceremony? People usually toss something or blow bubbles for the couple’s grand exit but we’re not quite exiting since the reception is going to be right there. Should I choose something different like sparklers as we’re leaving for our honeymoon, after the reception? Or could I do both?
