marlamallow :  sorry if someones already responded to you, but Fiance stands for Future Intended, which is in turn a synonym for fiance.

[email protected](insert bee that you’re secretly obsessed with)+1

-My family wants to gift us this beautiful 5 bedroom 4 bathroom home in my dream neighborhood fully furnished, should I accept it?

-OP doesn’t listen to a single thing anyone suggests with 58 helpful replies and OP replies “You don’t have to be mean. Nobody here is helpful!”

-I want to gift my bridal party something that I’m requiring they wear on my wedding day, is this OK as their gift? -Literally every response, either NO or if it’s for your wedding it’s not a gift.

-Your BMs are not props

-FI cheated and I took him back, now I found sexts on his phone with 8 other women when I snooped, should I just pretend it didn’t happen and carry on with my dream wedding anyway since my deposits are non-refundable?

MrsSapphire :  my mind is blown. I always thought “FI” stood for fiance and also wondered why it needed two letters!

But hes not cheating because he hasn’t yet paid for sex… just gotten dirty photos.

Hes not going to go see her in another town. I know.

Some of these are going from cliches to bashing obviously specific posts or posters. I thought another bee tried that awhile ago and was blasted for it.

kristin36890 :  hmmm…..well, my grubby pawprints are all over both threads so I guess I’m one of the Bees who should answer.

Option A. I was actually the one who blasted Bees on the thread I’m pretty sure you’re refering to- which included several Bees I like- because IMO it was a direct reflection on a particular Bee’s particular situation she’d just posted about the day before- even though it could also be a Cliche since she isn’t the first or last to post about this, so I thought it could be hurtful if she saw a thread that was pretty obviously inspired by her own thread.

This thread, however, I don’t think anyone would open it and say ‘hey, this is about me’. In fact, many Bees are laughing at themselves- I’m guilty of at least a dozen of these cliches. This thread seems more light hearted and more about generalities/cliches. The only posts/ posters I’ve seen specifically mentioned were those belonging to pretty obvious trolls or sock puppets- like Jessiquh or the Bee with all the weird polls.

Option B. I’m a hypocrite (which I’m honestly not ruling out). I don’t see this thread as being mean, but maybe that’s just me seeing things how I want to see it.

@RobbieAndJuliahaha There are several posts on this thread where I know exactly which thread they’re referring to. There’s one a couple posts up that is referencing a thread that another bee posted today. It was like she read that thread and then came here to give a one sentence summary/opinion of that thread. Most of these posts are lighthearted and are poking fun at patterns we see a lot of the bee. What I don’t like seeing is a bee not liking a particular thread and then using this thread to vent about it if that makes sense. I think we should stick to actual cliches and not just use this thread to bash specific bees or posts that we don’t particularly like or agree with.

I didn’t mean to derail this thread, so I guess derailing a thread is another cliche that can be added to the list.

kristin36890 :  Agreed, I didn’t realize any of these recent posts were about specific current threads.

yaara :  “derailing a thread to “pooh pooh” other bees naughty behavior”

Awww man, now we’re up to 13 cliches I’m personally guilty of  (and prob 5 more I’m unaware I do!)

And on a more light-hearted note: Guys who insensitively propose on a Him Day rather than a Her Day or an Us Day. Not sure where the neutral days fit in.

Can anyone summarize what happened on the Destination Wedding Disney cruise thread? I just went back to check in and the awful “not found” tagline appeared.
