Sometimes my stuffed moose and polar bear hang out on the back of the couch. My SO and I call them by their names… Mooser and Bear. So original, I know, and they definitely get tucked away when company comes over haha.

My one stuffed animal is an Orca named Willy – from “Free Willy”. I’m a dork!

Mix of boys and girls.. why?  I don’t know!!  Maybe some animals seem more masculine than others, ha.

My teddy bear is a he, my blanket’s an it, the monkey I had was a he, and mustache bear is a he.

When I was little, like from when I was four to when I was eight or nine, I would sleep with: my teddy bear, my blanket, the monkey, this stuffed cat (a he), mustache bear, and two or three Ginny dolls.  Like all of them held in my arms.  LOL.  I was so comfortable.

When I was little they were all female (including Simba)- I guess I was a feminist child.  Now some of them are asexual, some are male, some are female (mostly where it’s obvious- like the mama gorilla that came with a baby gorilla).  The Build a Bear SO and I made in our first year is male.

I’ve always thought of them as male. This is stupid but true. I’m talking about the ones I had when I was little as well as the ones SO has bought me ( he buys me 1 or 2 teddy bears every year for Valentine’s/special circumstances).

Most of mine were male, I think the only ones that I figured were girls were wearing dresses.

I think mine were all male. I could be wrong though – it’s been a while since I’ve hung out with any of them.

@Pinkmoon:  Mine are basically all guys unless they’re rag dolls (and I did have one girl bear once, because she had a cub). Most of them live with my parents now, but I’ve got Thompson (a giraffe), Rory (a lion), Squiffy (a unicorn with a skee-whiffy horn), and ‘Little Claire’, a rag doll that used to belong to my Granny that she named after me because it had skinny legs.

I need to rescue my Pegasus toy from my mum actually…

All but one of my FH’s are boys as well, actually.

Lol mine are a mix. But I really only have three stuffed animals.

The first one is a stuffed snow leopard that my Boyfriend or Best Friend bought me three months into dating. I named him “Snowy”. Original, I know lol.

And the second is a dolphin that he bought me from the Georgia Aquarium. I named her “Ariel”. I always liked the name from the Little Mermaid (which happens to be one of my favorite Disney movies) and I wanted something that reminded me of the sea. So Ariel it is.

The third is a black teddy bear I made from Build-A-Bear when I was little. For some reason, I named her Sasha. I have no idea why. That bear is currently at my parents’ house now.

But as for the first two stuffed animals, they currently reside on my nightstand. I love them because they’re so cute AND because Boyfriend or Best Friend gave them to me 🙂
