    I’d say Fargo is the #1 movie that comes to mind when people think of Minnesota, but I think of Juno and Drop Dead Gorgeous.

    love that movie and am actually from that town. only thing is they filmed it in maine. so i was a little bummed about that.

    Yes for Gone With the Wind. Although I haven’t been to it, there’s a Gone With the Wind museum about 20 minutes from my apartment, so naturally it came to mind.

    However, like someone else said, you unfortunately can’t forget creepy banjo music and Deliverance when you’re in some of the beautiful but less populated areas. I’m glad that wasn’t picked as the one for the state!
