I tried to see if anyone has posted anything about 8/13 brides but I didn’t see anything. Is anyone else a 8/13 bride? Yes, I know it’s Friday the 13th, but that doesn’t scare us. Are you doing anything to incorporate Friday the 13th into your wedding? I wanted to find some lucky 13 facts for our welcome bags (oot bags), to prove those who are superstitous wrong, but I’m strinking out!!

I’m not a Friday the 13th bride, but I was BORN on Friday the 13th! Spoooooooky!
I have nothing bad to say about that day. 🙂

We’re doing this cause our first date was on a Friday the 13th. My brother gave me a bunch of ideas but I’m not sure if I’ll use them or not
- Instead of an arbor/archway to walk under, decorate a tall ladder.
- Have a black cat cross the aisle (we have one anyway).
- Label ALL of the tables #13. We could get away with this since we’re not assigning seats anyway for our small wedding.
I can’t remember some of the other studd he suggested, but if I think of them I’ll update.

just have to say… i love the idea of having a ladder as an archway. Maybe at the entrance to the reception so all your guests can walk under it, or somewhere along the aisle so just you and your Fiance can walk under.
Have you heard of Lucky 13 clothing brand? they have some cute “lucky 13” stickers and other accessories that you might be able to throw in the Out of Town bags.

Hello girls!! I am a proud Friday the 13th bride! Just had my first fitting yesterday (see my post about hating my dress).
Since Friday the 13th is one of my favorite movies, we had this idea of having groomsmen in hockey masks coming out of the Long Island Sound (we have a waterfront CT wedding LOL).
Honestly, we picked the date cuz it was cheaper than a Saturday.
