We did food stations at our wedding and one of them was “Taste of the South” (it was a southern wedding) with fried chicken, mac&cheese, and collard greens. It was definitely the biggest hit of all the food we served…guests kept talking about how great it was to get fried chicken at a wedding!

I thought about this too and I would do chicken tenders b/c less mess… +sides would be mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and greenbeans and dont forget a salad.

jmm23 : The place we had cater our wedding offered fried chicken as one of the main courses. We considered doing it, but optend for other options in the end.
The sides they paired with it were mashed potatoes and gravy, homemade noodles, green beans, corn, salad, and rolls.

I was just at a surprise wedding and they served fried chicken. We had a mixed veg and rice dish that was delicious!
