This thread is hilarious. A house guest of yours was wearing PJs…that is the full story. She isn’t doing anything wrong and you will look crazy if you mention it to her.

I assume she didn’t know that shirt was that see though. I’d let her know that it is that thin, but other than that I wouldn’t get into the whole idea of calling her inappropriate unless she does it again, not much need for that imo. She may have been braless for several reasons. Doesn’t mean she plans to make a habit of it.

writersblock :  Doing it most certainly will normalize it and therefore over time de-sexualize it. Why do you think it’s not as big of a deal in other Countries? In Europe they normalized the female breast by literally exposing it, in the media, with nude beaches etc.

I might let her know…but I highly doubt she’s trying to ignite anything. I almost never wear a bra, even in public sometimes, I hate them so much. So give her the benefit of the doubt…she’s likely unaware of how much she’s showing.

now that i think of it…i have gone braless around my guy friends plenty of times. didn’t even occur to me that anyone would notice or care.

bzbride2277 :  This is ironic but I hardly ever wear a bra except sometimes when I am with a dude I really like because a lacy bra and pants makes me feel especially sexy. So to me a bra is sexy because of how it makes me feel LOL and because it’s a special occasion occurrence with special associations.

But most of the time, I wear just a tank top under my T shirts. Even my sometimes conservative mom says it looks fine, that that’s what most women my age wear. And yes nipple outline shows BFD. Because I’m easily embarrassed probably because of outdated ideas about what makes ME feel ladylike and dressed, I couldn’t leave the house in a tee and no tank or camisole underneath. But my more liberated  friends don’t embarrass me, I’m only uneasy if I were to do it myself.

OP if I were in your shoes, and maybe you already do this, I would go out of my way to encourage and build up my visiting girlfriend in the areas in which she is insecure, whether it’s looks or dating patterns, or being appreciated for deeper qualities. You mentioned her needing attention and you obviously aren’t so annoyed with her that you aren’t close so maybe this would help both of you?

Leave your friend alone! Bras suck and nobody wants to wear them all the time. Her body is nothing to be ashamed of. Don’t blame her for trying to be comfortable. Blame your husband for looking and over-sexualizing her breasts.

As soon as I am in for the night my bra comes off. I don’t care if I am at a friend’s house or not. They aren’t comfortable to me, and life is too short to worry about offending over-sensitive people. If my friend told me to put a bra on when I am in my PJs I would laugh my braless self all the way home.

I would mention it to her but very tactfully.

we went out with friends this weekend. girls and guys. married and not. I didn’t wear a bra. If you guys can believe it, it’s so crazy…NO ONE NOTICED and all guys left morally intact. Crazy right? Probably an anomaly…

Kaymar :  I thought it was just me. Been a lot of body shaming, racism, blaming the victim lately. Not digging it.

Will miss you yipeebee.
