You are completely disrespecting your friend, how can you live with yourself knowing that you are nothing more than a bully. Do your self a favor and get out of your friend’s life she doesn’t need someone as hurtful as you in her life

Our group is one of means,

Lol… only just cottoned on that OP meant her friends were a group that HAD means. The way it was written made me read it as a group of ‘mean people’!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

TBH if this post is even remotely true I’d say this group of friends is probably a whole bunch of bitchy meanies with less mean than they give themselves airs and graces for!!

I feel bad for the newly engaged chick. I’d love to know what her enemies look like if this cow is her friend??

And I’m going with your interpretation; they are a group of “means”

If you’re not a troll, then you’re just a dick.

What exactly are you looking for advice on? How to be a shitty friend? Or a shittier person?

Your friend is clearly happy, it sounds like you have some jealousy issues if you need to come complain about her ring (why does this bother you so much?) and bash her fiance. Get over it, she’s happy and if you’re a decent friend, then you’d be happy with her.

Also, get over yourself with the socialite “we’re of means” nonsense. Nobody. Fucking. Cares.

mrsmay07 :  Duuuuuude. That ring is beautiful! I don’t watch much TV, so I had never seen this before. I would wear the shit out of that ring. And then I would punch that group of means in the face with it…

Hello everyone,

I am new here. I was just searchig *searching some things about the situation, and foun *found this forum. I am hoping you can help me navigate this situation.

A good friend of mine just got enganged *engaged she is very excited (I don’t know why, he *her fiance *fiancé is an under achieving loser.) Anyway, she keep *keeps flashing the ring around as if it is something to be proud of, it is this horrible, huge black stone with chunky white ones along the side. She says they are diamonds, but I don’t think black plastic could possibly be a diamond. Another friend asked her about it and she said he chose it becuase *because of some tacky movie she liked. I think is *it is becuase *because he is cheap, I don’t know what it could have cost, $100 tops I expect.

My dilemma here is how to handle telling her she is humiliating herself by showing the thing off to women with real rings worth real money. Our group is one of means, so for her to be waring *wearing this toy ring and gushing about it is very, very embarrassing. I care about her, and I want to manage the damage. What would you do? Should I take her to get it appraised so she can see how little it is worth? Or should I buy similar ones as part favors and pretend I didn’t know it was the same ring?

Any advice is appreciated.

*fixed it.

Use correct wording and spelling when addressing the commoners from way up there on your high horse.  We wouldn’t want you, “someone of means”, to “humiliate yourself”.

Shame on her for “waring “ such an awful piece of Cracker Jack jewelry amongst such an upstanding circle of “friends”

sandysandra :  If think your problem is not with her ring but with her fiance, since you described him as an “under achieving loser”.

anyways as for the ring itself, you’re not the one wearing it, so if your friend likes it and is proud of it, who the hell are you to judge? the strength of someone’s relationship isn’t determined by the cost of their ring.
