I really just think people are jealous. Who on earth even says that to someone. Your ring is absolutely beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t know where people get off thinking they can criticize something as personal as a ring choice. Please ignore them and don’t feel bad about your choice.

chocobo124 :  Your ring is absolutely stunning!! Please don’t let your so called “friend” dampen your spirits! Your ring seriously looks perfect on your long, slender finger! She’s probably just crazy jealous!

chocobo124 :  it’s beautiful ! It’s not gaudy. It may not be the norm where you are but who cares! I think it’s classy and beautiful. Don’t let that “friend” get to you/rain on your parade. Congrats ! Also I think if you wear the ring with grace, MOST people will judge you on your character IE “she’s such a sweet heart”. You know?

chocobo124 :  Show your friend the engagement ring Richard Burton gave to Elizabeth Taylor. That is what huge looks like!

impatiencein17 :  Yesss!!! I’ve been eyeing your GORGEOUS solitaire, it catches my eye everytime I see it! Mine’s going to be Rose Gold (I currently have platinum but found the warmth suits my skin tons WAY better). I can’t wait! Fingers crossed next week is the week!

So gorgeous!! I love ovals! If she said it in a semi nasty way, I think it may be because she’s jealous… Ignore her and rock that rock!! It’s beautiful and if you love it that’s all that matters

In the USA, it’s big, but not unusually large. I think it’s very nice and any remarks are jealousy.

chocobo124 :  Forget what they think.  It is your ring after all, and the only person that matters is you.  I think it is beautiful.  ๐Ÿ™‚

chocobo124 :  The more this story unfolds I think this “friend” isn’ really a friend at all. She seems to be grudging your ring and if she wanted your Fiance she is most likely grudging you for having him. I say take her comment with a grain of salt and stay aware of her. Since you and your Fiance work together and you don’ want all the eyes on your ring and people wrongly judging how about getting a smaller ring or some kind of band for work? Just to be more low key but still look “spoken for”? Just an idea….

Your ring is beautiful! Perhaps she’s just jealous?
