@MrsPanda99:  + That is how I felt when a friend just wanted me to come to her wedding, interstate.  Especially when I was with my partner 5 years before she meet her husband.

You have the choice not to invite him…but your friend has the choice to decline your wedding invite as well if she thinks your choice is unfair. You not inviting him will definitely cause some tension and things could backfire for you…

If they are married, yes he must be invited.

Yes, you should invite him.  They are married.  You won’t even care during your wedding that he is there.  Your day will be special, regardless.

I’d say yes, they’re married, he gets an invite (unless they were separated and clearly getting a divorce, in which case I wouldn’t invite him).

@March1stBride:  Yes you need to invite them. However, chances are they will break up again before your date
