I haven’t done this, but it sounds a lot like scrapbooking (but on a professional scale/printing).

Maybe check out some scrapbooking templates & whatnot to find some ideas?

Since you say you have all known each other forever, there should be a ridiculous amount of pictures laying around from beginning to end– so, you could do a ‘how we met’ story thing to begin with.

Also, you could always nonchalantly ask each of the girls what some of their favourite childhood memories are of the group, or funny stories about you guys as kids (of course, accompanied by funny pictures).

Then you could move on the middle school/highschool/college where memories are less vague and probably more interesting/funny/embarrassing etc.

Be sure to include some thoughtful words about your friends, like how awesome they each are, how they’ve helped you over the years etc etc.

Hope This Helps.

I did a blurb book for our guestbook. Blurb is so easy to use and is awesome!! Are you doing a personalized one for each girl? Just to let you know ,putting the book together can be time consuming. My suggestion would be to create a folder specifically for each book you are making with all the pictures in it. For our guestbook I also included ticket stubs from places we have been together and cards etc. It is really cool!

I’m doing this for all of my 5 brides maids. Only 2 of them will be the same so sounds like I have a lot of time to dedicate on my hands! I’m going to include notes that my Maid/Matron of Honor used to pass in middle/high school, ticket stubs, photos, song titles that we used to have jokes about and maybe some random clip art if possible of inside jokes. I’m going into it like I used to my scrapbooks from high school. I’ve also looked through some published blurb books on their site to get ideas. This one I liked the best so far, may be of help: http://www.blurb.com/books/340572

Once you start uploading photos I’m sure that it’ll all flow from there 🙂

I got a photobook as a bm gift.  It was great and so thoughtful.  She took the time to make 6 different books for all of us, with a collection of pictures of each of us and her thoughout the years.
