I don’t think you should ever have to “suck it up” with something you wear everyday! I think the cushion halo you posted is gorgeous! If your husband doesn’t mind then I think you should go for it!

@future_mrs_s:  I think you should go for the halo!  That’s what you originally picked, and it sounds like it would feel more “you”.  Don’t settle for the classic setting just because it’s classic – it sounds like you know what you want, and I don’t blame you!  The cushion halo is gorge    πŸ™‚

I love your new setting but if you think the halo is more “you”, then I wouldn’t think twice about getting it!

I love the cushion halo, but I may be bias! I would go for it, I think you’ll enjoy it greatly. πŸ™‚ It looks quite a bit like my halo setting if you wanted to see a hand picture.

I think your current set is gorgeous, so you can’t go wrong either way. I’m a halo lover myself so I say go for it!  If that’s what youi’re going to love forever, that’s what you should have.  $500 seems like a very reasonable price for it, as well.

I suggest you leave it the way it looks now. To me that’s the most beautiful of these 3 looks.

Wow, I love your original set! However, the diamond looks much larger in your current setting. I do like the new potential setting but would opt to not do a split shank. So, I vote either keep it as is, or do a cushion halo with diamonds on the band and no split shank.

Go with the halo. That’s the way it was supposed to be (the one you picked out), so if a solitaire isn’t you, change it.

I love my halo too.

Honestly, I like the original set the best! I’m a halo girl myself, so if you really want to change it, your DH has no objections and you are financially able to… go for it!

Your current setting is gorgeous!!  However, I think you need to add the halo.  It’s what makes you happy! πŸ™‚

I would go for it! Especially since it’ll make your setting look more like your original one!
