I wasn’t sure if this should go in DIY or Gifts so I opted for DIY…
I finished my hostess gifts today and I’ve got to say, I think they came out pretty cute! I went with the “From my shower to yours” theme and got them each a 3 piece shower set in their favorite colors/scents. I had hoped to spend under $10 per bag and I’m happy to say I did! Each bath set was $7.99 from Target, the bags were $0.99 each and the tissue paper was only a buck. I made the labels myself using left over card stock and the rhinestones that I got to make the “I DO” for my shoes.
It’s nothing crazy but I think my girls will appreciate the thought. 🙂
Did you give hostess gifts?

@UpstateCait: You are THE most creative Bee around! Love these!!!

I didn’t but probably should have. Two of my aunts threw a shower for me, and I just sent them both a personal handwritten note thanking them.
I love this idea; I wish you had shared it before my shower and I would have done something similar! They will love it!

@melisslp: Oh, stop! lol Thanks lady! 🙂
@brideatbeach: From what I gather my mom and aunt are helping with the shower, too, but I didn’t get them anything (they don’t need another shower set, lol). I think I’ll get them each a plant or something afterwards just to show I appreciate their hard work.
Hope my girls like them!

LOVE these! I gave a shower set to my hostess as well, but wrote “Hope your next shower is as nice as mine was!”, which I thought was cheeeeeeeeezy. Your line is much better 🙂

Wow that is a great idea! Fantastic job on the labels for the bags too.

@SapphireSun: Not cheesy! I think it’s cute!
Thanks ladies! I feel like I should throw a few more things in the bag but if it’s not “shower” related, it won’t really make much sense.
Do you think the shower set is enough or should I add a few more things?

I totally stole this idea. Thanks! 🙂

How did you make these tags? I have a Cricut but can’t find a cartridge that has the tags like yours.

so cute.. I might have to steal your ideas

@MrsRR201212: I didn’t use the Cricut. Since I only had to make 3 tags, I just designed them in photoshop and cut them by hand. The tags are layered so I just took one of my designs and shrunk it down a bit. It was very easy. Probably took 20 minutes tops.
