36 hours, and I think he had to duct tape himself to a chair and hire two of his buddies to hold him back that long. He was so proud of that ring, and so excited to stick it on my finger, he was like a kid with a toy.

Purchased, about a week. But he had to have it shipped, so once it was in his possession it was about 24 hours or so

Probably 4-6 hours. He got it before dinner and proposed after dinner.

I had to wait 4 months. Drove me crazy because he told me when he had it. He kept it in a safe at his grandmother’s house so I couldn’t sneak a peek. I would bug him nearly everyday trying to guess where/when he was going to propose. Ugh! It ended up perfectly so it was worth the wait 🙂

I actually like the 2-4 month wait window and wish I had one.  You get to enjoy the butterfly feeling and wonder when it is coming, and usually when a guy waits a reasonable (reads: not too long) time, they are either planning a super sweet proposal or making sure they have all of their final financial/family ducks in line so that they can move into marriage mode.

I bet your Fiance is going to wait until he pays off the ring at the end of the month and plan something very sweet for you. It’s a good type of wait!

About 30 seconds…

I didn’t really get a proposal, we’d talked about getting married for a while and decided to go ring shopping. While we were paying, the cashier said “Congratulations, when did you get engaged?”, and we said “erm, I suppose right now?”

I am definitely on the longer side of things, but I think that my story is a little different than most in my situation so I will share. SO has had the ring since October and I am still waiting. I know he has the ring because we designed it together although I have not seen the finished ring. He isn’t keeping me waiting with random excuses and we had actually agreed together to set a propsal timeline of May-October, so could happen any day now. While I am excited-nervous about it, I am not resentful or bitter about my waiting time. Every couple and story is different, enjoy yours! 🙂

He ordered it a few weeks before, the diamond had to come in. But from when it was done about 3 hours…

I think it’s was about 6 months, I didn’t know about it but he suddenly started locking his bedside cabinet after asking about rings 🤣 so I sort of knew x

I bought the engagement item on Saturday and proposed on Tuesday. laughing We had a trip planned for the following weekend that I was going to do it on, but the perfect situation arose, so I just popped the question!

amp0803 :  my SO told me too! I still don’t have it and I know it’s in our house somewhere. Sometimes I wish he didn’t tell me but that’s how he is and I love him for it.

As of day, tt’s been alittle over a 2 month wait. So hopefully soon!
