I’ve never been to a wedding with one! I would love it.

Photobooths are so much fun!  We’ve been to weddings and corporate parties with them, and guests seem to love them.  We’re having one at our reception.

Dude, photobooths will always be fun! Doesn’t matter if it’s at a wedding, any other party/event, mall, ANYWHERE!

@Xu:  Yes! I’ve still never been to a wedding that had one. I think it’d be awesome.

I just went to my first wedding with one and I was SO excited to partake in the fun! The photographer also printed a copy of the photos for the guest book so that the bride and groom had all of the fun and crazy pictured! I will definitely be having one for my wedding! Plus the guests get those special pictures as a momento from the wedding!

@Xu:  Nope. I hate photobooths! I really really really don’t like sharing ‘costume’ stuff, hats, scarves, glassess, basically anything that lots of people are going to be trying on just icks me out, and I think just a plain photobooth with no props might not be as fun for guests, because then it’s just getting your picture taken. I don’t like getting my picture taken unless its for personal use (like I didn’t mind my wedding photographers because they were for me.)

So I guess I’m not part of everyone, because I don’t like photobooths. I don’t think it is bad that people have them, I just won’t be partaking in a photobooth. No biggie. We didn’t have one simply because most weddings that have them, the bride gets dragged in to take pictures with guests and I just… no, I wouldn’t be able to do it. The entire time I’d be thinking “lice lice lice lice” and my head would have itched the entire night.

But again, lots of people think these are super fun and aren’t paranoid or a germaphobe like me, and I know I am in the minority here, so I’d say go for it!

@Xu:  I love love loveeeeee photo booths! I get excited every time I go to a wedding and they have one. Which is probably why we are having one for our Sunday wedding 🙂

For what it’s worth, ours was packed during the whole reception. Plus, many people have raved about it to us!

Plus, it’s kind of a nice alternative for guests who don’t like to dance, but don’t want to be stuck at the table the whole time.

I think they’re fun, but I could take them or leave them. For our wedding, most of our guests are older anyways, so we’ve decided to spend the few hundred dollars that could go to a photo booth on other things 🙂

We’re having one so that guest can take their pictures as favors rather than us shelling out money for something they may or may not keep. Plus we’ll have the guestbook, which I know I’ll love and look at more than just a signed guest book.

I am so glad we had a photobooth! We ended up paying for an extra hour because our guests loved it so much. We have a scrapbook/guestbook with pictures and people were able to write notes. So much fun!

I don’t think they are super trendy or new anymore, but I see photobooths sticking around because people just plain like them.

I didn’t have one at my wedding but have had one for each of the past few years at my office xmas party.  We keep bringing it back because people really enjoy it.

@Xu:  We are having one. We found a deal on Groupon. My Fiance loves them for some reason and I’ve had fun in them at previous weddings so I said sure 🙂

I don’t know if I personally as a guest care if there’s a photobooth. It’s cute when they’re there, but I don’t notice if they’re not. That said, we’re probably going to have one because I think it’s a great way to keep those non-dancers engaged and having fun. My Fiance and I love dancing (despite our complete and utter lack of skill) so we spend most of the time on the dance floor and not taking photos BUT there’s always that crowd that wants to party but doesn’t want to dance – so voila, the photobooth has its day haha.

It’s not an original idea, but it’s always a crowdpleaser.  I personally prefer the kind of photobooth where you don’t have to cram into a small space.  Then you can have a fun background and fit more people into it.
