It happened to me, but it turned out that stress was keeping my period away.  As soon as I resigned myself to the fact that I really wasn’t pregnant and had a margarita, my period showed up the next day.

Test again in two days (pregnancy hormones double every two days in early pregnancy) and try to relax.  It could just be too early!

Yes, this has happened to me several times.

ladyox has the right idea – either you’re late from stress or something else, or there isn’t enough of the hormone present to be detected.

Yes, a few months ago mine was about 4 days late for no reason, and it’s always like clockwork. I was freaking out! You just have to wait. If a week passes, make an appt with your gyno.

Your period really isn’t that late, so I wouldn’t worry.  Mine has been much later than that due to stress, travel, illness.  I wouldn’t worry about it for now, and I would try to relax…  it’ll help your system re-regulate itself.  🙂

Best of luck. My period was due Friday. Took a pregnancy test on Sunday and got one positive and then took two more and both were negative. Horrible nausea this morning and was convinced I was really pregnant, and by this afternoon aunt flo showed up and the nausea is gone.

You’ve got it right. Relax, chill. What will be will be.
