my wedding is in 10 days. when I am stressed about something thast has gone wrong, I have a few people who tell me to not worry, it will be ok.
I want to yell at them!!!
I can’t just relax and hope the magical wedding faries find us a new hotel for the honeymoon, or a new getaway car at the last minute.
Who do they think makes this stuff happen?

That is extremely irritating. We know that in the end it will be OK, but we are stressed and have to worry until that happens. Not just in wedding-world but with anything.

In theory, I’d like everyone to remind me to calm down when I start getting stressed last minute…but I’m sure when it happens to me I’ll be super-irritated as well!

I particularly hate when they say it in such a condescending way. I want to scream “I was calm, but now you’re pissing me off! You. Are. Not. Helping!” Instead of telling me to calm down, how about you pick up something and start helping me out.
Okay – I feel better now.
But yeah, I totally agree.

THIS IS MY BIGGEST PEEVE EVER.
Calm down. Chill out. Don’t stress. Deep breathe. THE WORST. My dad is king of this. In fact, he warns me before he talks to me “EJS, now i want you to stay calm when I tell you this…are you calm?…” UGH UGH UGH *throws stuff all around the room*

Oh, I hate that too! I actually really, really can’t stand when you’re venting about something and people say something like, “whoa, calm down” and they’re like patronizing about it. I want to claw their eyes out! In your case, I’d just ignore them and walk away. They’re clearly not being helpful!
I’m in a mood now, that if anyone were to say this to me, I’d become the HULK.
