I had this problem with my invites and now I’m having the same problem with my thank yous…I can’t get the addresses to line up properly using MS Word! It’s always too far to the left or too far down.
How can i fix this?

I had this problem with my menu cards. Download Open Office. It is free and for some weird reason, it just works better for this sort of thing. OO is the free version of the Office Suite. Many people (like my husband) prefers using it, even though I have the Suite loaded).

Thanks, I’ll give that a try right now…

My hubby addressed the envelopes using Word envelope. He told me he had to play with it for a hour or two before he got it just right. They look terrific.

You need to set the paper size to the size of your envelope – not just in Word, but also in your printer controls. If you get it set right in Word, it shows up fine on the screen. But Word doesn’t communicate that information to the printer. If you click on "properties" in your printer window, it should give you the option to specify paper size.
Most printers will give you the option to save a custom paper size (as will Word) so that you don’t have to do this over and over if you don’t do all your envelopes at the same time.
