I feel you 🙁 We missed a bill last month that we both swore we paid, but there was a glitch of a number typed wrong so they didn’t take it, well we just noticed when we went to pay this month so of course there’s a nice fee tacked on 🙁 There goes Christmas 🙁

I feel ya! My frustration is with grad school though. I’m doing a thesis based program but I’m going on 3 years and I feel like my thesis advisor just keeps piling on more freaking work. I’ve done WAY more than any of the other grad students and it’s so frustrating. LET ME PLAN MY WEDDING AND GET A REAL JOB ALREADY!!!

Yep sounds like my weekend…. my life. I have a tiny bit saved and it seems as soon as I do something acts up and i have to hit the savings. It’s not just me saying this SO agrees. I just thought of something … this could be why he is reluctant to merge our bank accounts!

I feel like someone cut me and money is bleeding out. During this process Fiance got laid off, we had to buy a new car, Christmas which was obviously not a surprise but with everything else, and everyday there is something new that requires a check to be written. I am hoping that after the wedding I will feel finacially back to normal. Pllus Fiance started a new job last week which takes some of the tension off.

Ugh I feel ya. Listening to my boss complain about paying the mortgage on his 2 houses and worrying about how he’s going to pay for his 3 kids college fund when he makes over 400k a year and drives a lexus. Dude I just submitted an order for 43,000 dollars worth of blinds and a bathroom remodel for your home! Was that really necessary??? You spent more in one month than I make in a year ya asshat, don’t come whining to me!

Yep…same here! Real life has a way of smacking ya’ right in the face everytime you think you are starting to get the upper hand. I think this time of year is especially hard…bad economy, Christmas shopping, trying to plan a wedding…just all around VERY stressful. We just decided last month that my FI’s 14 yr old son should come live with us. He is living half-way across the nation with his mother but his grades are HORRIBLE! He has NO motivation and his mom doesn’t seem to be able to do anything with him so he will be coming to live with us in 2 weeks and will live through the end of next summer at a minimum. Now don’t get me wrong…I love the kid and I knew when he and I started dating that having one of his boys come live with us at some point in the future was a possibility (if their mom got sick or whatever)….BUT…the timing could not have been worse! My kids are all grown and out on their own so I have gotten VERY used to living as an empty-nester. We come and go as we please. PLUS…I am trying to plan a wedding with a honeymoon to Italy. Yeah…having a 14yr old boy is going to change things quiet a bit financially.
