Okay, so thanks to PCOS, I’ve packed on some poundage. Since I’m nearing 30, I fully accept that combined with PCOS, and my metabolism, I’m never going to be squeezing into American Eagle jeans anymore. I am working on losing weight to get to a healthy place, and for the most part, I rely on knit dresses, skirts, and anything that will accomodate my slightly larger frame now. That being said, I’m kind of feeling bored of skirts and dresses these days. I’m really afraid of going out to buy jeans/pants because I am finding it harder to find pants that fit well. I’ve tried Old Navy (they’re okay, but they seem to not wash up well), AT LOFT (which don’t feel like they fit the same anymore), and I’ve tried to fit my hips with Coldwater Creek (oddly fitting, but okay if I’m going to hang with Esther in Boca). Does anyone have any suggestions for shopping for pants when you have a curvier lower half? I’m between a size 14 and 16, and my goal size is 10, for reference. I have been scoping out Talbot’s, but I’m kind of confused as to what the age group they’re marketing to.
