@MissCoCo:  I love your response to it, haha! I would just chalk it up to Future Mother-In-Law wanting to be more involved and going about the wrong way of showing it. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Future Mother-In-Law going to a bachelorette because they do tend to be on the inappropriate side, and could quickly get very, very awkward. I’d just continue with the nope, no f*cks given today, sucks to be you, and go have a blast anyway 🙂

@MissCoCo:  Weddings are stressful things. I wonder if something was misconstrued between the two of them and it unfortunately ended up getting dumped on you?

FI’s cousin’s mother (FMIL’s twin) definitely was there for her bachelorette. They all had a great time! So, it’s possible to have fun with your FMIL!

@MissCoCo:  Ugh. I’m assuming she’s not like 16 right? Parties are organized early, so I’m sure both Future Mother-In-Law and Future Sister-In-Law knew who was and wasn’t invited. If she didn’t want to come, she could have RSVP’d no. Also, she can’t even call you herself to cancel? What a baby.

One of those times I’m so glad Darling Husband just has a bunch of brothers.

Go have a wonderful boozy brunch and party with your girlfriends. Don’t worry about her!

Every bachelorette party I have been at included the mothers for the tame part of the party (usually dinner) so I don’t think it’s that weird. It is rude of her to try to butt her way in though.

Unbelievable! The mom called YOU to tell you the daughter isn’t coming b/c the mom isn’t invited!? That’s some bat-shit crazy level Passive Aggressive.

I’m so glad you are over the tears part (I would have cried in shock, too, definitely) and have moved on the the NO F*cks Given part of the day!!!

Have a FAB brunch!

Your Future Mother-In-Law expected to be invited to the bachelorette party???  She needs a good whack with a clue-by-four.
