  • poll: Did you ask your FSILs as BMs, and how big was your bridal party?

    I don't have FSILs/SILs

I have them but didn't ask them

I asked them, and my bridal party was 4 or less

I asked them, and my bridal party was 5 or more

My SO has a twin brother who just got married July of last year and I was a bridesmaid in his wedding. Fastforward to July 26, 2014 his SIL will not be walking in our wedding because I will not be asking her for such assistance. Btw: I have 3 Maid/Matron of Honor and 7 Bridesmaid or Best Man.

I had my SIL (married my bro 2 years prior),  but not my Future Sister-In-Law, even though his parents assumed I would. I don’t know her that well, and I wanted my bridal party to be people I was close with. I had 6 girls in my party, and I thought that was a perfect number for us.

I asked my Future Sister-In-Law (FH’s sister) and she lives in England (I’m in Michigan) with her husband and two children.  She was very happy and has been very nice with no problems whatsoever.  I never expected her to do anything but get a dress and a plane ticket.  She got her dress before everyone else!  Her husband is my FH’s Brother-In-Law and also one of his Groomsmen.  Her two sons are both RBs so the entire family is in the wedding and its fabulous.  I have 6 bridesmaids in all and we are expecting approx. 150 people as well.  I am planning the final meeting with the hotel for when she is in town so she can be a part of a little planning and she is very glad to be included.  I highly recommend it.
