I really want my palette to be fun & pretty, also classy & elegant. I think this Fuchsia & Taupe combo really fits that, but will adding black be too much? I really want Fiance to wear black, not taupe. Opinions?

I think you can have your fiance wear a black tux without having to add black to your overall palette. I really like the fuschia and taupe combo, but I am not a fan of fuschia and black. Just keep the black to the menswear, and stick with your palette as is 🙂

i totally agree with sarahbabs…. def black only for the suits

Black is a neutral. It goes with everything. The fuchsia and taupe palette is light and perfect for spring. I would also keep the black to a minimum,

Awesome thank you ladies!

Agree that the tux color doesn’t need to be a wedding color.
If you’re looking for an accent color, though, why not the pretty green of the flower stems in the pictures above? It adds a nice touch.

@ProfessorGirl: Yea I also thought about adding some green too since it will be a spring wedding. I’ll keep that in mind for an accent color.

Definitely agree that black tuxes will be fine!

i agree with previous posters, your palette is really fresh and light, if you really want to use black do so, but i would keep it to a minimum. happy planning 🙂
