I’ve been trying to figure this out too. I’m leaning towards a loose up-do like this…

I have a round face, so Im satying away from anything sligk back, or tight.

I also dont want my hair in my face to “hide” my round face, so I opted with a lose side chignon.

I am going with an all up do. Only because my hair does not hold curls. These are my inspiration photos

I went with 1/2 up 1/2 down and I loved it!  🙂

Im growing hair out for wedding ( come onnnnnnn July 30) but I have no idea what to do with it.  Someone posted a website that allowed you download your headshot and add hair styles– did anyone save it?

I would really love for my hair to look like this but I need fuller hair and for it to be a bit longer.

I had my hair trial this last weekend and had her do the eva longoria picture above… I HATED it!!! Not only do I have a very round face and a slight double chin, but I never wear my hair up unless I’m going to work or having a lazy day. Therefore seeing it up and only slightly showing from the front was horrible. We’re doing a few more trials and the next one I’m having done is an all down-do with finger-ling curls (I think that’s how you say it). We’re going to try one side pinned up and back to be a little vintage like with my birdcage veil.

I like hairstyles that slim my face and draw attention away from what I feel are negative about me. The updo’s just seem to draw attention to those areas for me. When I’m heavier it all goes to my face. 🙁

I went with a low updo that was side swept.

I am thinking of doing my hair like the girl in the “Marry Me” video by Train. It’s a BEAUTIFUL half up-half down loose look that I think will look good since I also have a very round face. If you look the video up on Youtube you will see what I am talking about.

I’ll be going with half-up, half-down for a number of reasons.

1) I have long thick hair and I’m vain about it.
2) I can’t STAND hair touching my face for very long and can only imagine I’d go bonkers if I had to deal with it all day.  There’s going to be enough stress, I don’t need that added into the mix.
3) I don’t like how my face looks when all of my hair is pulled back, even though I live in pony-tails.  I don’t like photos of me in pony-tails.  My face looks slimmer when it’s down.  I think it looks best when down but pulled back from touching my face.
4) I learned my lesson about overly ornate hairstyles in the back/simple in the front from my high school prom.  The hairdresser did a super-intricate gorgeous knot that you can’t see in any of the photos because no one took a photo of the back of my head and from the front it’s just scraped back.  Bleh.

I’m opinionated about my hair, can you tell? 😉
