I got a swimsuit from victoria secret years ago. I loved it and covered what I wanted covered and was very supportive. But it has really stretched out and will not work for me anymore. So I have checked victorias website and dont see anything that I feel comfortable wearing.
You know those old timey swimsuits from the 50’s and 60’s?? One piece bathsuits that has a skirt. Like the ones pictured below…
I love these. I like the coverage on top and on the bottom. Has anyone seen this type of swimsuit anywhere? And honestly, I would be looking for one with a little bit more of a skirt then even these. Im not comfortable showing a lot of skin.
Thanks for any and all help. 🙂

Seconding modcloth. They have adorable stuff and last I checked some of it was on sale. I recently got this suit and it is so slimming and flattering.

Earlybride: I buy mine on the website swimsuitsforall. I’ve bought three suits all true to size the last two years. if you sign up for their emails they have frequent great sales. Just picked this suit up for half off for the lake.

I like modcloth, but sometimes their plus size swimwear is pricey (I loved one I saw on pinterest but when it linked back to modcloth it was $247!!)
I just ordered a swimsuit from forever21’s plus size line, it was only $30. It is supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I will follow up with a review tomorrow night, hopefully.

MissLibra: Please do, I have this in my cart right now but wanted to see a review on it first! I am not a fan of the top 2-3 inches of my thighs so I am hoping this will cover them.

MissLibra: thanks I love that the models they have are actual plus size.
i’m not quite plus sized myself – just curvy, and size 8/10 but with large boobs.

I like a lot of J.C. Penney’s suits.
