I think heavy apps would be best….with a good mix of italian dishes in there.

I’m older and would much rather have a meal. Apps are OK, but they certainly don’t fill me up like a full meal would.

If I was invited to an 8pm wedding, I’d have already eaten a light meal because I wouldn’t want to wait that long for dinner. I’d be thrilled with heavy apps – it would feel like an awesome New Year’s Eve party.

Heavy apps! That time of year, I think everyone has had just about enough of eating. A light meal is always welcome.

My fiance and I are also having a NYE wedding. We are serving a ton of apps during the cocktail hour at 7. Then the first course of our sit down meal will be at 9 followed by dinner at 10, cake cutting at 11:30, and a dessert table at 12:30. With everyone drinking throughout the night we wanted to make sure people were also eating. It’s a late night overall so I don’t mind serving food later.
