Voted for the half-eternity.  The full eternity is definitely tempting with a small price difference though.

From personal experience, the pave on my e-ring is about 2/3 the way around and plain on the bottom (it looks like an eternity setting when you look at my hand though).  I like it that way for the reasons some bees already mentioned (diamonds on the bottom don’t get more wear and tear, and easier to resize), but also because I live in a big city and sometimes I am wary of showing my ring so I rotate it inside my hand.  At those times (and they’re not frequent), I’m happy to have a plain side to the ring.

@linnylou_88:  I totally understand–I love the look of full eternity rings, but the comfort and practicality aren’t something I can risk. I don’t think a 3/4 eternity would look any different 99% of the time.

I voted half because of the resizing issue. But a 3/4 would be just as practice IMO.

I love full eternity bands, spinning drives me insane, so I’d vote for a full eternity.

     Here is my set

@linnylou_88:  In the winter it spun a little bit, not fully around. This time of year my fingers are swollen like sausages so it stays put!

I’m an advocate of half eternity band so you have the ability to resize later.

I LOVE that style of band so much! I vote full eternity since the band isn’t solid stones all the way around, there is a lot more metal, less chance to lose a stone imo. Plus, then it won’t matter if it spins! 🙂 My ering spins SO MUCH even though it is as small as I can get it and still make it over my knuckle comfortably(4.25). I am hoping that once I get a band it won’t spin anymore!

Let me know if having your band helps stop the spinning on your ering, I have heard that it does!

I have a full though I had the jeweler put a small piece of metal at the bottom in case I resize one day(had to have mine custom too because of my 3.75 size!)
