I was a gymnast from the age 3-12. Fast forward 4 more years & I was a cheerleader from the age 16-18. We were a competitive team, we even went to nationals in Orlando FL! So, I have always been fit, and I enjoy working out…if it’s exciting that is. I truly try my hardest to get into the gym and run, do strengthening exercises…all that good stuff.
Honestly it’s so repetitve, and I have a hard time keeping with it b/c I am so sick of running! I recently decided I want to take kick boxing classes. See I wouldn’t mind having a couple of “main” workout routines/classes that I took & using running for a side work out-twice a week or so? I checked out a couple of adult tumbling classes near me, I think I might join in cause I miss tumbling & it’s truly a workout.
Here’s my question…Are there any bee’s out there who use kick boxing as a “training” or “workout” routine? I want to lose about 10 lbs total before the wedding. Mostly I just want to tone up. I haven’t ever taken kick boxing or anything like it. Could I use it as my main source of exercise & throw in some running? Let me know guys! If you have any other suggestions for new, fun workout classes or routines, that would be great!
