Mr. Darcy from the newest P&P, possibly Daryl Dixon from TWD (he’s gotten to be a good character over the seasons!! lol). Damon from Vampire Diaries for sure.

slomotion :  I’ll second Ranger from the Stephanie Plum series…although Morelli is hot too!

I’ll admit it… I’d have a night with Mr. Christian Grey, with limitations…lol

My #1 choice would be Daryl from Walking Dead…after I help him take a damn shower! lol

lexipediabride :  Colin Firth hands down. That series was amazing, the whole cast. That bit when Elizabeth and Darcy exchange a long look in the drawing room as Georgiana plays the piano after Elizabeth has turned the page for her! Sigh!

MissCountryGirl727 :  I thought people would think I was weird for saying Daryl…lol! Probably wouldn’t want to with season 1 Daryl, but he’s gotten so much nicer over the seasons…and those arms though.

Even though he dies, Agustus Waters (The Fault In Our Stars) or Four (Divergent) or Harry Potter

Laululintu :  i assume that you mean Faramir the literary character in the Lord of the Rings (who wasn’t tempted by the ring), rather than the actor playing him in the films or the film character (who, thanks to the director’s lack of understanding of the crucial difference between Boromir and Faramir,, was tempted by the ring).

Me too.

In fact I fell in love with the character so much that I ended up marrying a Faramir-type man of my own.  A good move.

Supersleuth :  Yes, I definitely mean book-Faramir! I’ve always been a sucker for the innately noble types. That’s why I find Tom Hiddleston (the actor) much more attractive than Loki (the character he’s played in several films).

ETA: Though he’ll try to deny it, one of the things that first drew me to my husband was his kindness and goodness. He has a good measure of the clown in him too, to keep him from being too serious, but he’s very unlikely to be purposefully mean to anyone.

Quick divergence from the topic.

In little Women/Good Wives I still have the feeling that Jo should have married Laurie.

In Wuthering Heights the younger Cathy should have married the narrator.

In Disney’s Snow White the eponymous heroine should have married Grumpy.

In Gone With the Wind Scarlett O’Hara should have married no one.

Sherlock Holmes should have married Dr Watson.

In Pride & Prejudice Lizzie Bennett should have married Colonel Firzwilliam thus leaving the moody, stodgy Darcy for the rest of you to fight over.
