Here’s what I am planning to do – lots of pens, stickers and colorful fun paper/cards and some envelopes for my wish bowl.
I’m hoping not to spend a huge amount, in case that helps.
Also: what size bowl do you think would be good??? You think 8in x 9in (opening) would be good?

I can’t remember how many guests you’re having. As long as it is big enough for all the completed cards, it should be fine. Those are really cute, and I love the colored pencils!

We’re doing something similar to this. I found a pack of scrapbook paper in our wedding colors and various patterns at Walmart. I cut it into 3×4" pieces (12/piece) and I’m putting them out on the table with colored pens and stickers. We are having the guests write on the non-patterned side, and roll them like scrolls, seal them with the sticker and put them in a large vase. The paper was $4, the pens were $4/10, the vase was $10, and the stickers are from the Dollar store. This was enough for 120 people.
After the wedding, we are putting the messages next to pictures of everyone from the reception in a scrapbook/photobook.

I am having 220 about at the reception. The bowl I’m planning to get is only $5 so, really if it’s not big enough then I will find a decorative use for it around the house.
