I just put my set back on this morning for the first time in probably 2 weeks because we’re going out to an OB appointment soon. Normally I wear my rings all the time unless I’m doing dishes, but since we haven’t been going out at all, I just left them in the ring dish by the sink.

Some days I do, other times I don’t. It’s pretty sporadic.

I’ve been working from home the past few weeks. I usually wear my rings when I’m awake, unless I’m in the shower, cooking something messy (ie, meatballs, kneading bread dough), or involved in an activity where it could be dangerous (certain types of home improvement projects or certain craft projects.)
However, I have been wearing my rings less, mainly due to all the extra handwashing I’ve been doing and the constant need to slather my dry hands with lotion.

I still wear my engagement ring. I still wash my hands very often. I still use sanitizing wipes after pumping my gas. When I had to travel, I wore a glove over the ring hand to touch things like an escalator rails and TSA bins; the other hand was used for touching my handbag or cell. Now, I’m just staying inside.

I only put on my engagement ring when I start to get anxious because staring at it makes me happy. In general, I don’t find jewlery very comfortable, so I don’t wear them at home.

I’m a nurse. I actually decided today to switch over to a plain band when I’m out so that it is easy to clean and my ring doesn’t get gunked up with hand sanitizer/soap. I don’t wear my rings at home because my skin gets irritated if I wear them all the time.

No quarantine for me because I work as a nurse. I dont wear my engagement to work neither but I see other nurses do it… even without this Covid19, I wouldn’t wanna damage it taking off gloves, ripping my gloves or collecting germs, period!! Plus all the handwashing and sanitizing…I have some silicone rings coming in from Amazon so I’m excited to get those and actually wear something on my finger!!
