My husband put it in his parent’s safe deposit box at the bank. Very secure and definitely not somewhere I could look haha.

He only had it for a few days before he proposed – but he won’t tell me where he hid it..

I have no idea to this day where he hid it! Our one bed apartment is tiny too. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that he had just kept it zipped in his coat pocket and carted it to and from work for a couple of weeks. I know he had it delivered to his parents house, and he’s been to see them a couple of weeks before he proposed so I know he had it in his posession two weeks before he proposed. but my proposal was a complete surprise I wasn’t expecting it at all so yeah, but he knows i know his christmas present hiding place so he wouldn’t have put anything in there

crazychickenlady :  I’m pretty sure my fiancé hid my ring in his work bag for 5 months! Lol. He always took his tool bag back and forth but I never go in it.

I didn’t even know my fiancé had gone ring shopping, but he custom-designed it and then he picked up my ring during his lunch hour on a Friday. He actually brought it in to work and kept it on his desk for the rest of the day because he was nervous having it in his car.

He then told his sister-in-law he didn’t trust himself having this expensive thing even though he proposed the following Wednesday (it was Independence Day and we had a party). She offered to hold it for him but he decided to put it in the bottom drawer of his dresser behind a bunch of tech stuff.

I asked him where he had it hidden for those few days and he said he picked that drawer because he knew I wouldn’t go in there since clothes/socks/underwear were in the other drawers and that bottom one just had random cords, old phones and nonsensical techy stuff. I laughed. I would never have thought to look in that drawer for ANYTHING—it’s a mess!

My husband could not plan a surprise even if his life depends on it … He went and bought the ring a day before the planned proposal day but ended up proposing that night because he couldn’t wait.
