My fiancé and I will be going to Negril Jamaica for our honeymoon next month and we are looking for fun things to do their besides the beach etc. We both like the outdoors if that is helpful.

Rick’s cafe at sunset to watch the cliff divers, take a day trip to Floyd’s Pelican bar (go on tripadvisor and see if you can coordinate with another couple to share a van for the day) we did YS Falls the same day too. Stalk the tripadvisor Negril forum for more ideas. The restaurant at the RockHouse is lovely for dinner.
I second the Rick’s Cafe suggestion! We enjoyed diving off the cliffs and paying a professional cliff diver to dive off the highest one. I also recommend hitting one of the roadside vendors on the way to or back from Rick’s–they sell jerk chicken, pork and beef and it is AUTHENTIC. My friends who grew up in Jamaica all told us to try it and we were not disappointed!!
mrschris17 : Negril Jamaica Honeymooner here!!! We go in August, please update on us, when you get back! I’d love to here what was a must and what we could pass up on! 🙂 Are you going through Sandals or a resort??
Rick’s Cafe is quite touristy but you will see a beautiful sunset and cliff jumpers.
Have lunch or dinner at Rockhouse Hotel in Negril, either at Push Cart or their main restaurant, and for something fun, try the One Love Pub Crawl. We’ve done the pub crawl twice and Lenbert (driver) is just awesome. He takes you to bars off the beaten path, and all are safe.
YS Falls is also a nice adventure!
We honeymooned in Negril, but actually never ended up leaving the resort so I can’t help you out there 😛 But we had a blast, so just here to say enjoy! We stayed at The Caves and will absolutely go back. We could see Rick’s Cafe from the resort, and though we didn’t personally go, people seemed to enjoy it.
Definitely venture off the resort, but do so safely. I’ve been twice and I still dream about the chicken from those roadside jerk huts!
Going on an adventure to Pelican Bar is an experience i will never forget. IT IS AMAZING!!! I would say it is a must visit… enjoy some freshly caught fish and go for a snorkel. Also, we had the most fun doing the ONE LOVE Bus crawl… it was an awesome time, got us to see lots of places in Negril and we met lots of lovely and interesting people as well.
