Thank you all for sharing your weird stress symptoms! It’s so bizarre how our bodies deal with stress and how everyone has a different reaction.. I feel (slightly?) better-ish now knowing that there are others who have had strange reactions! I think we all need a vacation! LOL
I blush. Not in a cute, pretty way. My face and neck turn beet red. People usually think it means I’m embarassed, but I could just as well be angry. It’s a good sign that you need to back off ASAP 😉 lol
When I get stressed I totally stop eating. My stomach literally turns when I think about food. It drives DH bonkers.
I have a disease that flares up when I get stressed, my body forms little tiny granulomas through my organs, bones, muscles, skin…. Just all over. It is thoroughly weird.
My neck hurts..really, it is not physical, it never hurts when I am not stressed. Go figure lol
I get some fun, Gassy, Insomnia, butt sweat (I know, lovely),
I get eczema flare ups, Insomnia, GI problems, chest pains, heachaches. I ended up in the hospital a few months ago with HORRIBLE pains in my back and chestish area…turns out it was just stress.
I get acne on the back of my neck.. mostly because when I’m stressed I pick at the back of my neck without noticing.. its this wierd nervous tick, so I inflame the skin and case acne which I then pick at and.. well…
I have to be *really* stressed for it to happen, though.
I grind my teeth, but I do that all the time anyway. I have a bite guard to wear at night to keep my teeth from breaking in to shrapnel.
My eyelids twitch which is really annoying! I get hives. And I just recently went into stress overload and developed trigeminy which felt like a 2 month panic attack. $6000 worth of cardiologist bills later and I am fine, but stress is no joke and I learned that the hard way this summer 🙁
Migraines, tiny tummy days (when I can barely get water down), incessant nausea.
