So I had to post this b/c I was dying laughing last night with my Fiance. I told him last night that I was in love with the whole rustic vintage / shabby chic theme. He was like ok. This is exactly how our conversation went.
ME: So I love the mason jars idea with flowers, wrapped with a burlap bow what do you think honey?
ME: Yes, burlap <I was serious>
Fiance: Burlap like a Potato Sak?
ME: yes, honey I guess like a potato sak. <ha ha getting there>
Fiance: I don’t want a potato sak in our wedding. <dying laughing here>
I was literally laughing and told him that it’s not going to be a “potato sak” but the material will be better….but I kinda got what he’s saying! So in the end…..Burlap idea = gone! 🙂
I love speaking to men about weddings!
Happy Wednesday, thanks for letting me share!

LOL I want the same theme you are talking about and I haven’t told SO yet because I imagine our conversation will go the same way. If you really do want it I agree with PP show him some pics he probably isn’t envisioning it the same way you were.

@PhillyProper: Those are really pretty! I have no doubts that burlap can be elegant and beautiful just like your pillows which I ADORE!
@impatientlywaiting20: I printed mason jars wrapped with burlap, a nice bow for the aisle with lace (gorgeous)….he said he likes the “color” but not the actual burlap.
I guess in guys POV, it’s just a potato sak. I just love him! I hesitated too trust me on telling him what I think we should have, he doesn’t understand the whole “theme” thing but oh wel..
