I had read Belly Laughs several years ago by Jenny McCarthy and loved it…I am going to download it to my Nook and read it again now that I’m pregant. Do any of you have any other funny or lighthearted pregnancy books you can recommend?
My Darling Husband is away for work until April 19th, and I’m trying to just be happy and not worry which can be hard when alone with my own thoughts! So after panicking about a few things this weekend, I’m taking a step back and just trying to do whatever I can to keep it light until he is home and we have our first u/s:)
Thanks for any suggestions!

This book is ‘for dads’ but we all found it to be hilarious! So funny, and your Darling Husband will likely enjoy it, too.

I know a ton of these. Here is my list of favorites!!!They are all fun and funny and nt heavy:
Exploting My baby because it’s exploiting me, Teresa Strasser (a MUST)
The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy, Vicki Lovine (MUST)
Full Of Life, Nancy O’dell (kind of cheesy but also sweet and she suffered a MC before her sticky as well)
Taboo Secrets of Pregnancy, Michelle Smith
When you are ready to start venturing more into child rearing and such i totally reccomend Brining up Bebe by Pamela Drucker. it’s about french parenting and how americans tend to overparent. very interesting theories.
enjoy! please let me know if you enjoy any fo these. xoxo

@indibee: Totally just ordered for Darling Husband on Amazon:)
@Audreysdance: Thanks so much! I’m downloading these – I think I’m going to start with The Girlfriend’s Guide to Pregnancy tonight:) Hopefully by the time I am through them, we’ll have had a perfect ultrasound and I won’t have had time to worry between now and then!
