So yesterday was bad… I started the morning by locking myself out of the house. My 2 year old was very concerned to see my kicking at the back door like I was a cop trying to bust a drug ring.. Surprisingly enough kicking the door about 20 times actually caused it to pop open, but I could tell that the lock was clearly compromised so I texted the Fiance at work to let him know it needed to be fixed when he came home. A little back story on him is that he is in the coast guard and spends about 70% of his time at work and around 30% at home… tomorrow he will be coming home from a 80 hour straight shift; or so I thought.
After that whole situation played out I headed to the gym with my daughter and started getting some odd texts from Fiance talking about the house. He sent one that said “is the house a disaster?” and I answered “yeah… kinda, why?” being as I don’t do as much housework when he isn’t home and started getting concerned that someone was coming over. I then got a text asking if I was still at the gym which I answered “no I’m almost home, why?”. No response…
So I get out of my car open the door and someone jumps out screaming, scaring the living crap out of me. My first reaction was to punch kick and push…. After all said actions were done I realized it was my dear Fiance who had come home to surprise me which is something he NEVER does… I was so mad! Apparently he had to go pick up some parts (he is an engineer) right by our house and decided to play this lovely prank on me. But in the end he got his… a giant bruise on his chest from me pushing him so hard and a bump on his head from it hitting the wall =) He was actually relieved to see that I could somewhat defend myself. He has a history of trying to scare the crap out of me and I have no idea why… just his goofy personality. I hope he is over it now that he knows I can kick his ass! lol
thought this was funny.. had to pull out the kung fu moves on who i thought was a burglar!
