hmmm… you guys ‘into’ anything? have a theme? one of the bees JUST did a post on this like YESTERDAY, except in reference to announcements.

Going generic… you could do like …

LOVE (in big faded letters in the back)

Better Together
Come party with us
and celebrate our marriage

I dunno. If you’re really into something like zombie movies, you could go more theme-y.

If you give me some inspiration, I could come up with some sort of rhyme. My Fiance and I wrote a little poem for our STD like this:

God is good, God is great,

Don’t Forget to Save the Date!

Everyone thought it was cute and sweet.

You could go for the simple and obvious ~ for example

Jess & Bryan are Tying the Knot

Then wrap a ribbon with a knot in it around the card and layer it so you can’t see the back.

this is the picture Clair is talking about:

I have to say, its pretty cute!  but that may be because I designed it!

On our Save-The-Date Cards, it says

“He proposed…she said yes!”
XXXX & XXXX are tying the knot

That is very cute!  I love seeing these unique save the date.  My Fiance and I went super traditional and our STD pretty much looks like an invitation.  We are having a very formal wedding, so it kind of matches, but looking back I kinda wish we had done something cute and unique like this.  Love it!!

Ooh, playing on the tie the knot theme;

He asked,

She answered,

Now they’re tying the knot!
